Make your sleeping place as comfortable as possible. Make sure it’s well ventilated, quiet, and dark. If you’re having difficulty with the lights, try sleeping with a mask on. If noise is a problem, put earplugs or get a white noise” device to help you fall asleep. Avoid exercising just prior to your sleep time. It will make your body more stimulated and you might not be able to fall asleep easily. It is better to exercise early in the morning rather than at night. You can also try some relaxation routines to help you get into that drowsy” mood. Try reading your favorite novel or watching a movie right before bed. You can even take a quick bath just before getting into your bed and the warm water will likely put you right to sleep!.
